We’re a family-owned, female majority-owned CrossFit gym located in the heart of downtown Des Moines, Iowa. Our group fitness classes are built around the CrossFit Workout methodology—constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity. We welcome individuals from all walks of life, whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a grandparent wanting to stay active with your grandkids. Our goal is to help everyone unlock their full potential through the power of a CrossFit Workout.

Meet Our Coaches

Bryan Lloyd
Bryan LloydCo-Owner, Coach, CF-L2
Bryan has been involved in coaching fitness since university, where he began his coaching career as a Cardio Conditioning Coach at the YMCA, a Kickboxing/Kettlebell instructor at Kosama, and a Master Fitness Trainer for the U.S. Army Reserves. He has a passion for CrossFit and for athlete improvement from Olympic lifts, to gymnastic movements, to double-unders. Outside of the gym Bryan enjoys biking everyday and spending time with his beautiful wife, Caitlyn (also a CF-L2 Coach) and their son, Ryker.

Caitlyn Lloyd

Caitlyn has a passion for fitness. She has completed marathons, half-marathons, triathlons, 5Ks, gravel bike races, and bikes everyday. She was on the Drake University Rowing Team in college. As a fervent CrossFit coach she has helped change lives with her caring, knowledgeable, and positive approach to physical fitness development. Outside of the gym Caitlyn likes to knit and spend time with her adorable son, Ryker.

Thomas Lloyd II
Thomas Lloyd IICo-Owner, Coach, CF-L2
Tom owes his resurgence in life to CrossFit. He began his fitness journey in 2017 as a type-2 diabetic master’s athlete. Since then he has lost over 70 pounds, all but eliminated his diabetes, and can now keep up with the grandkids. Tom started his coaching career when developing a Master’s Program at Max Oxygen CrossFit specifically tailored to older athletes. Outside the gym, Tom is active with the Optimist Club and volunteering to help bring out the best in youth, our communities, and ourselves.

About Our Gym

We offer CrossFit classes, a strength area, and a place for the kiddos to run around* while the parents get their sweat on.

*The kid’s section is not supervised by staff but is within the parents’ sight.
